These terms govern your use of evicteasy.com (the "Site"), operated by EvictEasy LLC ("EvictEasy," "we," "us"). By using the Site you agree to them.

1. What EvictEasy is

EvictEasy is a California landlord information, attorney directory, and advertising platform focused on landlord-side eviction matters. EvictEasy is not a law firm, does not practice law, and does not provide legal advice or representation. EvictEasy does not select, recommend, rate, or endorse attorneys. You decide which attorneys, if any, to contact.

2. No attorney-client relationship

Using the Site, building a Situation Summary, or sending an inquiry does not create an attorney-client relationship with EvictEasy or with any law firm. A relationship with a law firm exists only if that firm agrees to represent you. Eviction matters involve strict deadlines; do not delay seeking advice because you used this Site.

3. Inquiries

  • You choose the firms that receive your inquiry. We send it only to the firms you selected, together with your contact details, under the consent shown at submission.
  • Firms decide independently whether and how to respond. EvictEasy does not guarantee a response, a consultation, representation, or any outcome.
  • You must provide accurate information and have the authority to share it. Do not include other people's confidential information beyond what is needed to describe your matter.
  • If inquiry delivery is not active for your county, the Site tells you before you submit, and your inquiry is recorded but not sent.

4. Directory listings

Listings are factual summaries built from publicly available information. A listing does not mean a firm is affiliated with, endorsed by, or has agreed to anything with EvictEasy. We try to keep listings accurate but do not guarantee it; verify details with the firm. Firms may request a correction or removal through the For Attorneys page or info@evicteasy.com.

5. Advertising

"EvictEasy Network" and "EvictEasy Network Plus" are paid advertising memberships. Network firms can receive inquiries from landlords who select them. Network Plus firms receive priority placement and featured visibility, labeled as sponsored where it appears. Paid placement is not a rating, endorsement, or statement about attorney quality. Network memberships are governed by the EvictEasy Network Membership Terms accepted by the Firm at checkout.

6. Acceptable use

Do not use the Site to submit false inquiries, harvest or scrape data, interfere with the Site's operation, bypass security measures, or send unsolicited messages to listed firms through our systems. We may limit, suspend, or block access for misuse.

7. Content and ownership

The Site's design, text, logos, and software belong to EvictEasy LLC or its licensors. Firm names and marks belong to their owners. You may use the Site for your own rental property matters and may print or share your own Situation Summary.

8. Third-party services and links

The Site uses third-party services (address verification, bot protection, hosting, email) and links to law firm websites. We are not responsible for third-party content, services, or practices.

9. Disclaimers

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability, merchantability, and fitness for a particular purpose. Information on the Site is general and may not reflect current law or your situation.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, EvictEasy LLC and its owners are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Site, your dealings with any law firm, or any legal matter. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Site is limited to one hundred dollars ($100) or the amount you paid us, whichever is greater.

11. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify EvictEasy LLC against claims arising from your misuse of the Site or your violation of these terms.

12. Governing law and disputes

California law governs these terms. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to that venue.

13. Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. The effective date above shows the current version.
